I recently read Milan Kundera's novel "The Unbearable Lightness of Being". That is where I was introduced to this concept. "It must be".
It stems from one of Beethovan's composition. It means if it must be, well, then it must be! And this is true in every facet of our life, is it not? Well, it must be.
This concept has strong philosophical roots. It connects to Friedrich Nietzsche's theory of Eternal Return.
And is it not true? This theory holds true even in fashion! What was in fashion in the 70's and 80's is all coming back in trend today. It is the theory of eternal return. And in a very obscure way, it somewhere means - what goes around, comes around. Well, it must be!
It might be contradictory to the theory of "Free Will". But well, I never quite believed in it. There is no free will. It is a capitalist way of believing that they are doing something - or they have achieved something. But well, alas! that is not true. But all the same - it must be!
What have i been blabbering above is again meaningless, yet profound.
Those who did read "The Unbearable Lightness of Being", i think they changed for life. However, I am sure there are those who thought it was a piece of shit.Well, again, it must be!
